Step up with StepRite Plus
So many supplements. Where to begin? I find that starting with questions is a good place to start. I was hanging out over at GrandView Farms at LAEC and was watching my friend Trainer Karen Perlow doing her feeding buckets. I noticed a supplement I was not familiar with and asked her why StepRite? To me it sounded like something that could benefit my boy Cash who was showing signs of creakiness left over from his past days as a barrel horse before we acquired him. She explained she had started using Steprite on one of her show ponies and [...]

Lana goes Horsey
If we could just post every photoshoot where Steven Klein uses horses it would be lovely. We should probably do a feature on him in a future issue. He'd make a fabulous cover story. Well anyway we're just gonna go all fashion gone rogue on this and we're gonna start posting editorials we love featuring equestrian style and horses. There ya go. Executive decision made under boredom. Enjoy. Lana Del Rey takes the spotlight on the Fall Preview 2017 cover of V Magazine. Lensed by Steven Klein, the singer wears a Ralph Laurent jacket with a Saint Laurent shirt and [...]
Life’s all Bleach
Wait what? Yes, you heard me. The world has taken a turn. I'm sure there's not one person out there who would disagree that their daily grind now involves some form of bleach. At home we use it. We're using it at the barn. I'm dizzy from the smell of bleach everywhere. Well, there are alternatives. I'm not saying that bleach is bad. I love bleach, you can't go wrong with bleach. I'm just saying I can't stand the smell anymore. Here are some basic alternatives and DIY add-ons that will still keep the dreaded Covid _19 at bay and [...]

SAUTE HERMES
CANCELLATION OF THE SAUT HERMÈS AT THE GRAND PALAIS 2020 The house of Hermès has taken note of the French ministerial decree of 9 March 2020 prohibiting gatherings of more than 1,000 people. Consequently, the eleventh Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais, due to take place in Paris from 20 to 22 March 2020, is cancelled. In the context of the exceptional current public health situation, Hermès is obliged to cancel the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais 2020. JUMP for Hermès
Everyone knows we are huge Hermès fans here. We try to implement their style into our fashion shoots, we have featured the luxury brand numerous times and we follow their Coversations in Movement video series as well. As equestrians, it's official we all covet Hermès. It was exciting to see our favorite house playing homage to the sport by lining the entrance to the runway with jumper poles. It was even more fun to see the play on the jumper colors and poles in the new collection. Without a doubt, if you're an equestrian you can find folly in the [...]
CHANEL need we say more?

GUCCI #OfCourseAHorse
For Gucci it's no surprise that their S/S 2020 campaign would be well "out there". Creative Director and Designer Alessandro Michele enlisted Director Yorgos Lanthimos of "The Lobster" knowing it would not only be a little strange but most likely involve animals? Lucky guess, I think not. We were super pleased to see our favorite spirit animal, the HORSE, gracing the pages of the campaign and the fashion film. Lanthimos creates a surreal world where fashion is clearly in the eye of the beholder and a pony is your partner in crime. Scroll through below and see Los Angeles in [...]
Taking no BULL
Model Lily Aldridge takes no bull in Pinko’s S/S 2020 campaign. Captured by Mert & Marcus, the mechanical bull wearing model wows in glammed up cowgirl looks styled by Vanessa Reid.
Fly with the Eagles.
Riding with a helmet and sunglasses can sometimes be a little daunting. Most of the time you can't really see through the lens or there's an uncomfortable fit. We've all been there. Most of us have experienced that annoying rub or slip down the nose or worst yet that blinding oncoming sunlight. Sure we'd love to invest in some protective eye gear, but in the end, we usually choose something that looks cool and that we don't really care about. Accidents do happen and I'm not squashing my Diors. I'm just not. I don't care how good they look. So, [...]

HOLIDAY ROUNDUP!
It's that time. Honestly, I can not believe it's the holidays again. Is it just me or does it come up on us quicker each year? Were people actually celebrating Christmas in Summer? I swear I saw some weird mid-way Christmas celebration. Either way, it's annoying. The holidays should be something we look forward to, but let's not overdue it. I mean seriously, one month at a time people. Okay, I digress and we did take this opportunity to rally up all our favorite knicks and knacks and all that is awesome by way of gifts for not only your [...]
