Astonishment:Hermรจs in Camargue
Imagine a scene like this: Manadiers wrangle a herd of galloping Camargue horses through a marshland before you. The sound of their thundering hooves resonate in your soul. Should we add a sunsetย dropping onto the horizon for a poetic touch? Should the horses gallop off into it?ย Yes Please.ย This may sound like a brain session between writers making the next epic film but no, just Pierre Alexis Dumas, the artistic director for Hermรจs being Dumas. โAstonishment is a human quality: itโs the ability to wonder, to surprise ourselves, and to reinvent ourselves.โ So saidย Pierre-Alexis Dumas, artistic director of [...]

JUMP for Hermรจs
Everyone knows we are huge Hermรจs fans here. We try to implement their style into our fashion shoots, we have featured the luxury brand numerous times and we follow their Coversations in Movement video series as well. As equestrians, it's official we all covet Hermรจs. It was exciting to see our favorite house playing homage to the sport by lining the entrance to the runway with jumper poles. It was even more fun to see the play on the jumper colors and poles in the new collection.ย Without a doubt, if you're an equestrian you can find folly in the [...]

ON TRACK with HERMES SS19
So you couldn't imagine our excitement when we found out that HERMES was showing it's latest SPRING RTW 2019 collection at the Longines racetrack.ย We had just finished our latestย issue (due out October 23) where we featured OTTB aftercares and actually shot an editorial at a racetrack. Naturally, we allย patted ourselves on the back for being so on point with the future. LOL. We like doing that, patting ourselves on the backs, it's what keeps us going as equestrians. Needless to say, the Hermes collection, devoid of anything horsey this time around,ย walked an unusual, sophisticated line between [...]
