If you are a little late to the party, then you may not know that Beezie Madden just won the Longines FEI Worl Cup finals in Paris last weekend her second time winning the title. It’s been 13 years since Madden last competed in Paris but we’re pretty certain she was feeling the confidence with her partner in crime horse Breitling LS . What a dynamic duo they made.
Breitling LS, a 12 year old Stallion made quite impression with this being his first major championship. “He’s only competed three weeks this year,” Beezie said. “He won the World Cup qualifier at Thermal, we did a 4-Star Grand Prix and Nations Cup (in Wellington) and he was clear in the Nations Cup and won the Grand Prix and then did another 4-Star Grand Prix (in Wellington) and won that as well.”
It’s been 5 years since a female rider has won the FEI World Cup Finals and that of course was Beezie Madden, she’s one of the best female riders in the world and at 54 she’s proving once again that the Equestrian Sports are unequaled in tradition of being a sport that age or sex of rider doesn’t matter in a game where TALENT of both horse and rider prevail.
